The source code of the dangerous ransom virus that is aimed at Android phones

Slocker Family is one of the oldest ransom programs for screen lock and file encryption for Android and is used to impersonate law enforcement agencies to convince victims to pay ransom.

The first Slocker Family virus was first detected in 2015 and is one of the first malware to encode Android files. It is integrated with an application based on a game directory, video playback application, and so on in order to attract victims to upload on their phones. When installed for the first time, the application looks like a normal game directory. Once the ransom virus is automatically activated, the phone changes completely, along with the back of the infected device.

As TrendMicro has stated:
" We have noticed that the software avoids encrypting system files, focusing on downloaded files and images, and will encrypt other files later (text files, images, videos). When you find a file that meets all the requirements, the thread will use Executor Service (a way to run Java tasks) to run a new task."

The source code for the virus was leaked to GitHub by an unknown user called "fs0c1ety", where the hacker asks everyone to contribute to the source code and report errors.
